Great game by both squads!

Here hoping young Collinsworth is fine after getting hurt in the game!

Great game by both teams... Congrats to the Baby Birds!

Wishing Jac Collinsworth a speedy recovery.

This is 2 out of the last 3 years these squads have gone to OT, and on the other one Highlands came from behind to win in the 4th.

I'd say it's safe to say this rivalry is going to be as good as ever the next few years.

BTW thanks Mark and J-man for bringing the game to us who couldn't make it!

CovCath Internet Radio is heard not only around NKy and the USA but around the World as they had folks in Florida, Chicago Ill and the Philippines listening in tonight!

Great game by both teams! It was fun to watch!

Hoping both injured birds are ok!

Great game, good job Birds Thanks for the internet broadcast, you guys did a exellent job.

At least it looks that way. This was a good game by both teams.

This is the third time I have seen HHS Freshman play. Watch the Male scrimmage and the St. X. game. Let me say this. The HHS/St. X game was on a whole different level than this game tonight. That game was so much better played by both teams and the atmosphere was out of this world for a freshman game. I think these guys have lost a little from the first week. Hopefully with the win tonight against a very good CovCath team, HHS will get back on track and win out.

Speedy return for Turner and Collinsworth. They will both be missed on the field but I'm sure there are some guys willing and able to step up.

Who were the key contributors on the CCH side of the ball? Who looked good? Do they like to run or put it up? Have not seen their frosh play.

While I wasn't able to attend this game, I have seen the CovCath "Seniors in Training" play twice and on the O side of the ball I have to say RB #24 Bobby Beatrice and QB #6 Blake Bir, but they are far from the only players on this young team.

CovCath runs the same offense that the varsity does and they like to throw the ball!

CovCath has lost to Ryle on a missed last second PAT that would have tied the game

CovCath has lost to HHS in over time

CovCath has beat Campbell County 56-0

Next game is Wednesday Sept 23 @ CovCath vs Conner @ 6pm

What did Collinsworth injure?

Thanks ftbdad. It was a blast and as always, we were treated very well by everyone at Highlands. We did receive an email from a Highlands fan in the Phillipines. We also received a very nice email from Jac Collinsworth's grandparents in Florida. Jac's a great player and here's to a quick recovery. We received an email from Mr. Restle in Chicago who had a son on the field. We had Michael Robinson on the air with us the entire second half and he was fantastic.

Great, great, great football game. It had it all. The stats were amazingly similar.

What did Collinsworth injure?

Heard he had a growth plate issue in his ankle and he reinjured it...
