- A+ effort by the CCH coaches and players. They came out on fire and ready to play. Must have been reading how they were going to get beat all week (I, for one, didn’t think they would win, so that shows you what I know).

- Evan Pitzer at QB looked the best by far he has as a starter. I think he’s really improving throwing the football, even since the season started. He made some plays with his feet and threw some seeds up the seam. Especially playing with a bulky brace after getting hurt last week, he played great. 

- I thought the gap in QB play was one of the two big differences in the game. Not through any fault of his own, but Cash is 2 years away from being able to a good player in that atmosphere (it isn’t reasonable to expect a 14 year freshman to perform well in that game, so I do not blame him at all).

- Willie Rodriguez and Owen Leen were playmakers with the ball in their hands. Outstanding games by both of those guys. Rodriguez was breaking multiple tackles after the catch and pancaking guys in the run game. 

-  BW’s OL got whipped all game, it was not competitive up front. They really struggled with twists and stunts. Total domination by the CCH defense for the first 3.5 quarters.

- Robinson is a pretty special athlete for NKY. The kickoff return for 6 was very impressive. No surprise he’s an ACC recruit.

I didn’t feel like Beechwood played with any enthusiasm or grit! They looked flat from the get go! Didn’t seem like they even wanted to be there! Go Tigers, win State!!!

I thought CovCath came out and smacked Beechwood thus setting the tempo.

Pet peeve. When you are getting your butt kicked, you always look flat. In this case though, I disagree. The Tigers were not flat, and they certainly weren't flat from the get go. 

The Tigers actually were ok out of the gate. Cov Cath's first possession was a 3 and out. Beechwood's first offensive play was a nice pass completion for a first down on a slant pattern before punting. Then the defense forced another 3 and out. So no problem with the start. Not flat at all. First quarter ended 0-0.

Congrats to the Colonels. Nice win!

Domination by CCH. Not expected. But anyone that disagrees is wrong. Good for you CCH. 

Eviston is now 7-1 vs Beechwood since arriving in Park Hills.  Only one of CCH’s victories during this time was by less than 17 points.
