Quite possible.  
 

Note that CCH played 13 games in 1998, so an average of 24.5/game.  
 

Regardless, that was a lot of totes - reminiscent of the halcyon days of the Boone Co tailbacks.

I don't know the actual numbers but I'll guess 7 carries for 25 yards, and 4 receptions for 30 yards. CCH controlled the line all night on both sides of the ball.

I'm not saying Cov Cath had THAT kind of confidence going into things tonight. Frankly, I know I didn't have that kind of confidence in the win going into things. But I feel like it was similar to that, looking back.

I officiated one of those games.  Good assessment.

Those two TD's by CCH at the end of the first half sealed the story. That moved it from a 7-7 game with 3 minutes left in the half to a 21-7 lead. Eviston going for it on a couple of those drives on 4th down even when he was in field goal range was a big move and CCH made it work. 

Bottom line - Cov Cath controlled the line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball. It was a small difference but it was enough to make the difference over the course of the game. That plus Pitzer hitting on some key 3rd and 4th down plays, and Beechwood not hitting on any of those plays. 

LOS determines the outcome in most games....at least that's my perception.

I’ll go on record and say that the Colonels will be without a doubt the only team this year to hold those guys to negative yards.

Accurate story. That is the way it went. Although, I am not sure Berger had -1 yards. Nevertheless, it wasn't much more than that.

About the time you were still thinking BW would win is about the time I was having “Uh Oh” thoughts. Even with the scoreboard showing the teams equal at the end of Q1, I didn’t feel like it was even. I felt like the Tigers were simply surviving and I didn’t think they could go punch for punch for 3 more qtrs. With most players going two ways, they just don’t have what it takes to keep up against a solid, well-coached team. Especially in the trenches where it mattered.  
So is life when you schedule the big boys. But I wouldn’t have it any other way. Our Tigers will be fine.

This.  This game will probably do more to help the Tigers win 2A (if they win it) than any game all season.
