      They have the pitching depth. They have a top notch #1 in Berger. The lineup is solid from top to bottom. The bottom of the order was excellent in the regional. The #6 hitter was the regional MVP. Def

    BW and Dixie will try again tomorrow at 5 PM at Thomas More Stadium.

    Why was the Dixie Heights v Beechwood game called?  I heard it may have to do with a Covington Ordinance that the Meinken lights must be off by 11 pm?  Or school the following day and sports can’t start after 10?  Either way, suspect planning with all the weather this time of year and graduations, etc if the games must be completed by a certain date.  Any thoughts or info?

    KHSAA scoreboard says St. Henry beat CovCath, 6-4.   Looks like the 20 win season streak is over.

    I've always thought the "20 Win" streak, in light of the "Not winning the 9th Region Tournament" streak, wasn't quite the flex anyone thought it was.  ?‍♀️

    Great outing by senior Abe Hils. He is been very consistent all year. HHS' pitching staff doesn't have a lot of star power like they have in the past, but they have 4-5 "Steady Eddies" that could really help them make a run at the region. Loved to see Hendrix with the big 3-run bomb too!

    He had a nice season with a really young team and they will be even better next year. And he hasn't suddenly forgotten how to coach baseball. Krumps can retire whenever he wants.

    Blue Colonels were very young this year and had to replace a lot from last year.  If similar things happen in the next few years then you can say it is time for Krumps to retire but for him to win the district over Beeechwood with what he had to replace was impressive.

    I saw that it will be played at Y'Alls Stadium at 5pm.

    Which is the same as Thomas More Stadium. It is not called Y’alls stadium anymore.
