Holy Cross is maybe 15-20 minutes from Brossart so not much further.  They would probably only have to make one trip with the other school coming north.  They also have a nice "rivalry" with Brossart already.  

 

The Brossart game is no big deal.  We play them every year anyway.  The other two are a hike and we generally play NCC, Bellevue, and Ludlow anyway so it wouldn’t really be a change just we would actually be in their division instead of Beechwood.  A long drive every other year did Nicholas county wouldn’t be that big a deal. We just already have establish relationships with the other teams.

In one of his other districts he has Somerset with West Carter. Please, someone introduce that guy to a map of KY.

When I read it I thought either this guy is super connected or super something else. ?‍♀️

I have seen someone suggest this for 3A.  The post said travel would not be over 88 miles one way for any team.  Don’t know if that’s accurate, just thought I would share

Forgive me as I'm not super familiar with the area, but isn't Bourbon County fairly close to Lexington? Would it make more sense for Bourbon and Bath to switch?

Bourbon Co is north of Fayette Co and I believe is why it is with the northern schools like Lloyd Memorial and Pendleton Co.

Thanks yeah that does make sense to have the northern most with those two. I was just looking at the centralized parts of the districts with Bourbon and Bath basically next to each other, yet Bourbon touches Fayette and Bath touches Fleming. My immediate thought was they should go on the district with the counties they touch. Didn't think about Bourbon being closer to NKY.

I'm interested in seeing if any 2As choose to play up. At first glance, 3A looked to get a little easier and 2A gets a little tougher. However, one or two moves could completely recalibrate that.

Look, if UCLA and USC can be in the Big Ten, why can't Beechwood and Washington County be in the same district?!

Why would they? Those other schools are closer to LCA and Danville! There is no way Beechwood will be in the same district as LCA.
