With that said they have to find a way to get more speed in the program. They consistently don’t have the top game breaking WR types.

Absolutely. UC's schedule arguably has helped him more than the program as well. Moved from a 1st round guy to a very early first round guy with those performances.

They may strongly disagree, but when the two teams played that Florida State team lost. Unfortunately they didn’t have the playoffs or even BCS system which would have given us a chance to see the rematch. Two great teams that year.

Went back and re watched the extended highlights on the NBC Sports App...Austin's only catch actually came when he was matched up against someone else.

 

Another example below of why some UC fans STILL can't stand Brian Kelly.

Notre Dame didn't beat themselves. UC physically dominated them. Film don't lie.

The score could have been worse. UC had a TD called back and two missed FG's. The final score very easily could have been 30-13. Just say UC was the better team and move on.

At no point in the game did it ever seem like ND was going to win.  The BK arrogance plays well at ND.

Awful, awful take from BK there. You got beat from the opening kickoff on and film shows that.

Really? They lost to a higher ranked opponent with a pretty good run the last few seasons. I look for Kelly to head west to USC, Fickel to ND, Coombs to UC.

Agreed.  When Notre Dame took the opening drive straight down the field and threw the interception, at that point it was a UC game.
