Any chance the Campbell County freshman could compete with the varsity? Also Highlands linemen are big enough to play on varsity.  Why not bring those big kids up to help them on defense upfront.  Just a thought. Was reading on another thread they had no defense line.

The HHS frosh o line is absolutely huge; agreed. However, one of the biggest weaknesses of the HHS frosh team is offensive line play. Just cause you’re big doesn’t mean you can play…

Agree.  I was told some are 8th graders.  If so they should transfer to Beechwood and work with the line coach there.

The injury excuse can be used by many teams. Coopers freshman have yet to play a game with their full team, and also have have their starting QB out for the season and backup QB too. So all teams deal with injuries. It sucks and unfortunate, but that is part of the game.

Considering Eddie has done a pretty good job only playing 13-14 kids out of the 22 every year, yeah it is a big deal. They seem to do fine in Varsity.

I'm aware FC. This is not an excuse-I said it was unfortunate because so many of their key players are missing their Freshman year. Period.

Also, just to tack on to what I said, this is definitely not CCH's best class fully healthy. Next year will be different with James Brooks son and company.
