0-0 Halftime score. CovCath got on the board first with a FG. Then Highlands RB broke it open with 91 yard TD run. Highlands then had a pick 6 later, before their last score from close finished off 21 unanswered points. 
 

It should be noted that CovCath’s starting QB was knocked out of the game when a whistle blew a play dead but Highlands DL did not hear it and hit him hard. Ending his night early.

I feel bad for these Frosh Colonels. They had some 3rd stringers playing tonight with all their injuries. They will be fine in the next few years.

It is unfortunate. Would have loved to see them at full strength. I don’t really know who’s hurt and all that but it could have been really ugly if Highlands didn’t turn it over 3x in the first half. May have even been 4. 

Highlands just can't put the ball on the ground like they did last night and last week against Beechwood and expect to Win. Two fumbles last night were both inside the 10 yard line with One of them was on Highlands 1st drive crossing the Goal Line to Score. Surprised they didn't mark it as a Touchback. It was close. I know CCH was missing some critical players last night but Highlands was missing their best player in Ethan Grimm as well. Injuries are all part of the game. If everyone for both teams is healthy this is still a 3 TD game when Highlands takes care of the Football. Beechwood is still the best team in NKY right now but would love to see Highlands get another shot at them but highly unlikely. JMO.

Yes it would have been because they have 7 starters out who play both ways.

Starting 7 kids both ways doesn’t sound like a very good way to develop, or retain kids. Or keep them healthy…

Devon James. He didn’t play vs Beechwood.
