Yes, Beechwood hosts Campbell County on the 28th at 6pm.

Uh.... Did you not see the post right above this that Ryle beat Campbell 38-22 last night? I know Ryle wished they could have another shot at Beechwood...

Whoops. I did not. Good. Maybe it’s still a little more open than I had previously thought. Highlands v Ryle and Campbell v Beechwood make things a little more interesting. Still wish highlands and Campbell could make up their game. 

I’m not sure any of these teams want another shot at Beechwood. They have been far and away better than every team they have played thus far.

I’m sure Highlands would love another crack at them. Especially with their RB and MLB who was called up to varsity that week due to injuries.

Why wouldn't they call players up from the jv?

Pretty sure they were or are hurt. I dont know for certain but I believe they were down to their 5th or 6th back vs Dixie or Conner. Something crazy like that. Others would know more on the subject. I just would have liked to see Devon play vs Beechwood as a fan. Would have been a much better game.

I feel like a lot of teams wish they could get another shot at a team, or were healthy when games were played. It sucks that freshman football isn’t allowed to have a playoff, to where we could see teams get another shot at each other later in the year. To see if the outcomes of games would be different the second time around.

Why isn’t there. I seem to remember a playoff in the past.

Freshman football is limited to 10 games per season, if I'm not mistaken.

In some years past, a lot of the teams in NKY would only schedule 9 games, and the last game of the season they would try to schedule an unofficial "championship" game between the two top teams, but without a playoff to lead up to that game there weren't always two teams that were the outright "top" teams.
