Sure was, the non call for entire offensive line being illegal man down field changed entire momentum. Instead of Ryle getting the ball, they allowed a drive giving up a TD to be down at half. Huge momentum swing. How the officials didn't see the snapper release down field is an unknown.

Ryle overcame 3 picks one being a pick 6, but had a pick and fumble recovery to close turnover deficit. Defense played extremely well, and had a great game plan. Pretty much shut down what had been a dominant run game. No rushing tds, Zero points in 4th qtr and was able to give ball back to offense with enough time to secure the W.... Difference in the game though was special teams, and Ryle was dominant in that phase.

Fumble on first possession near mid field to set up camels first TD drive. Botched snap on punt inside 15 to set up camel TD from very short field. Ryle should have won before OT after receiver caught game winning TD with 2 seconds left in game, but took scary hit to head on turf when came down and ball popped out. Forced to kick FG to tie and send to OT.

Huge play for sure. But D line holding Cooper to 3 points out of two possessions inside 3yard line was momentum changing. Both teams very young and very talented.

I will say his previous was impressive, especially as an 8th grader. But the best player in all freshmen last season not a chance. Ryle had at least 3 or 4 players that he would be behind, Cooper had at least 2 he would be behind. Those were your to two teams last year.

I'm seeing this game as a sorta track meet. Not so much as a ton of points, but both teams being able to score. If SK can be a little more creative in ball distribution and not have to rely primarily on the legs of Crone, I see this game possibly coming down to last team with the ball, having the chance to win. Pulling for SK to represent NKY.

Ryle freshman finish season with perfect record 10-0. Season totals, 377 points scored, 148 points allowed. Gives an average score per game of 38-15. Pretty impressive, considering arguably their best player never played a down at freshmen level, (played varsity all season). The team had several injuries throughout the season, speaks highly to the depth and talent in this class. Congrats young RAIDERS.

"They did" what? Smile? Laugh? Be happy they just dominated a game? I'm sure they did, but what they didn't do was laugh at a kid who was hurt. And this I know for fact. And your accusation is ridiculous. You sound like one of the adults cursing at freshmen boys, because I also know for fact several Highlands parents did that.

IMO only, player development is paramount to future of varsity programs. However, with that said, an emphasis on winning games has to be there or players will lose interest if just getting beat all the time. Losing is never fun and players lose the love of the game without having success and feeling the joy of winning games.

The two only undefeated frosh teams met on the turf last night to settle any dispute of who the best TEAM was, and one TEAM dominantly showed who the best TEAM is on the field. Fantastic game plan by Ryle. Cooper has some very good players, but I don't think even if Cooper freshman QB who plays varsity would make up for 29 points. The best TEAM won in dominant fashion.

Sounds like SK starting district play with 2-4 record. At least I'll say this, Gotta give it to him. He called it, the defense is a lot better. They went from giving up 42pts per game last season to only 30 points per game do far this year. That's improvement.
