Ryle 38 Campbell County 37 (OT)

Camels lead most the game then lose in overtime tough loss.

Triple Crown Mafia will have their pitchforks out for Engler.

If they haven’t yet, they won’t tonight.

This should be no surprise, Engler once again underperforms and wastes talent.

Year in and year out, and I’ll sing it to the mountain tops.

No reason Ryle shouldn’t dominate NKY year in and year out.

Very hard to disagree with this. After tonight’s performance, it certainly feels like he should save everyone the trouble and step down. Him and the rest of the staff. Ryle needs a fresh start.

I heard this with the previous coaching staff.

In OT Ryle scored first and got the extra point. Camels scored and went for 2 and got denied.

Congrats to Ryle on clawing back at the end. Sounds like the Camels were well prepared and kudos to Coach Weinrich for going for the win. Final score should be 37-36 from MC44’s info. From total yardage recap, I assume Ryle turned the ball over a time or two. Anyone at the game with more info? Thanks to BubbyKY for updates.

This could have been the signature win for the Camels.  And they had it!  UGH

Glad to see the Camels becoming more and more competitive.

Nate Smith is a great player. He doesn't get the recognition he deserves. I believe he is being recruited to play at Eastern KY. Unbelievably nice and humble young man.

I couldn't agree more with your statement.  He is of the character you would find in "That's My Boy" nominees.  He is stoic on the football field and basketball court and very athletically talented.

Fumble on first possession near mid field to set up camels first TD drive. Botched snap on punt inside 15 to set up camel TD from very short field. Ryle should have won before OT after receiver caught game winning TD with 2 seconds left in game, but took scary hit to head on turf when came down and ball popped out. Forced to kick FG to tie and send to OT.
