I agree that is a lot, and I don’t know why they were using so many sophomores this year. And yes from the teams I know at the freshman level. They all were notified that Dixie would be playing sophomores for the games. You just were the first one who decided to bring up that your team beat Dixies Froshmore team, that is why it wasn’t brought up previously.

Well then what’s the problem with Dixie? They went what, 3-6 in a freshman division with 10 sophomores.

With no Freshman Football tonight I thought I would just throw out a couple players that really stood out to me over this season as I was able to catch some games from the stands. To me these guys are going to be some big time players in the future. And I apologize if I don't know names so I will just use numbers that I remember.

Dixie

#14 Armani Gregg - He played QB for them and was more of a runner that ran hard and physical. 

Campbell County

#14 Garyn Jackson - This kid can just flat out play. He is very dangerous with the ball in his hands

#15 Aiden Dowds - Tough hardnose kid that runs the ball Hard. Didn't see too many kids take him down solo. 

Highlands

#24- Played running back. Had great speed and vision. Was really impressed with him.

#79?- Not sure if this is the right number but we was a BIG D-Lineman that controlled the line of scrimmage.

Covcath

#5 Jackson Reardon - Played QB and safety. Very athletic kid who made some nice plays.

#10 Tate Kruer - Played outside backer and WR. 

#20 Isaac Mason - Played TE and Inside Linebacker. Bigger kid who made some big time blocks and ran to the ball well on defense looking to punish people. 

Beechwood

This team had a lot of nice players but the one kid that stood out was I think:

#14- Luke Erdman - Kid could flat out play and wasn't scared to hit you. 

Boone- I don't remember numbers but they did have some BIG kids that hopefully stick with it and get better every year. 

Ryle

#34??- Huge Running back that ran down hill and ran hard.

 

I may be missing some guys but these are the ones that stood out to me. If there is anyone you think I am missing lets hear it.

He didn’t play freshman football this year because he started on both sides of the ball for varsity as a freshman for Cooper. However Austin Alexander probably would have to be the best freshman in NKY. 
 

Also a few others from Cooper would be: 

Mason Stanton who plays running back, and safety. He also was moved up to varsity half way through his freshman season and didn’t play freshman the second half of the year. 
 

Draydan Pavey who played OL and DL was probably one of the best lineman in freshman this year.

 

Isaiah Johnson  who played QB broke his collar bone halfway through his freshman season and missed half the year, but he is a tall athletic kid with a big arm. 

Looking to find the results of the Boone County vs. Conner game this past week. Anyone know the score for that one?

Also Conner Freshman Dillon Stewart played freshman football and currently starts at tackle on the Varsity Oline I believe he is 6'4 and still growing #77.

For what it's worth, I took a little bit of liberty to fill in the names I knew next to the jersey numbers you gave. I just figured it might help with discussion a little bit. Awesome input, man!

Mason Staton has 24 carries 84 yards at running back  for Cooper in 3 games as the backup to Tye.

So who actually won the Simon Kenton and Covington Catholic game. For both of them it list that game as a 21 to 6 win for both teams when looking at their schedule you posted.
