Not sure how true this statement is but read where Mintz if he returns and Grady’s scholarships do not count against the 13 max. If true CAL could have 15 scholarship players next season if he desired.

Then he will be back unless he changes a lot of opinions in the pre-draft camps. Rofht now he isn't even a sure first rounder from what I have seen.

That isn't true Grady Counts and Mintz counts against the limit.

I know normally it counts against the scholarships. You might be right about the bonus year thing.

Sounds like Brooks is definitely back.  Calipari confirmed.

Sounds like Calipari's teasing the idea of Mintz as a third PG this year.

Calipari saying he wants to play faster, shoot more threes and play a lot of 4 out 1 in.

It would be worth checking out his Twitter Account for everything he tweeted after being on a Zoom call with Cal.

Dang Jackson is staying in the draft and hiring an agent. I was really hoping they would get him back. I think he could have been a top 5 player in the country if he had came back. Best of luck to him in the NBA. I do think he will have a good NBA career.

I wouldn’t be surprised to see him almost back to the platoon system he started the 2015 season with. Maybe not as true of a complete platoon, but close. Especially if he truly does have them playing at a faster pace, with more threes and a lot of 4 out 1 in. 
 

I could see something like this:

One group of:

PG: Washington 

SG: Mintz

SF: Grady

PF: Brooks

Center:  WVU transfer Oscar

Next group:

PG: Wheeler

SG: Fredricks

SF: Allen

PF: Toppin

Center: Collins

Both groups would be very experienced, with a pg who can  get in the lane, and surrounded by shooters.  Then you still have two other guys in Ware and another good freshman coming in as well that could play their way in the mix  

 

If the season started today, I like the roster…

I said I like our roster last year minus Askew and we won 9 games so what do I know…

The New roster is on Campus now except Kellan Grady who Calipari expects to Move into the lodge later this week.
