tcjkbt
My favorite of all time. Besides his other-worldly baseball talents, he was an upright man who handled everything with uncommon class. Sandy Koufax called him "Bad Henry" in recognition of the amount of damage he could inflict on the diamond. In the late 1950s the Milwaukee Braves had three of the all-time greats: Henry, Eddie Mathews and Warren Spahn. RIP to a legend....in sports and in life.
oldgrappler
As @mcpapa pointed out, most consistent homerun hitter ever. And, he was the most intelligent. You may not know this, but Hammerin' Hank was a Cleveland Browns fan. He used to sit in the Dawg pound unnoticed by the fans because no one expected to see him there. He would fly from Atlanta to Cleveland to watch the games on Sunday afternoon. I was the proud owner of several of his baseball cards collected when I was a kid in the 70's. The oldest I had was a 1956 Topps. Here he is in an interview by the Cleveland PD's Dan Labbe professing his love for the Browns.
