I agree as a coordinator he is going to excel.  I always believe the defense at Highlands was light years ahead of the offense after the Dale era.  Dale used to take the athletes that could run up a score and Brian could patch and play with the rest.  The offense mindset was bad the past few years and the defense could never get off the field.  I believe it was a combo of things including not playing certain players on both sides of the ball.   I truly wish Brian the best!!

I'm just waiting to hear who is the "candidate" of the week. We've had Wolfe, Lickert, James and Bathiany for those keeping score. Did I miss anyone?

How about J Baioni?  He's a proven winner with a ton of HC experience.  Took a program that was just mediocre and has been a consistent winner for the last what 5 yrs or so.  Been to the state finals a few times.  Knows the student athletes at Highlands well, was a great athlete himself under Dale Mueller.  Plus, he gets to keep his current gig in the Spring.

Did I check most of the boxes?

I was told the schedule is being changed by the AD.  He dropped Boyle Co. Maybe adding McNicholas to a 1 yr deal, which messes with a 2 yr cycle. 

Haven’t heard if he kept Bowling Green on the schedule.

Things change, so we won’t know for sure until released though.

Can anyone shed any light on where if anywhere all of the other former Highlands coaches have landed?

BW to BW as DC, ?

Downing only coach retained as Frosh HC all others fired.

What about others? There are many I believe and some very good gets for schools.

Thought one went to Newport? Weinrich at Beechwood is going to really improve that team.
