Pick 3 Thanksgiving side items & 1 dessert

Featured Replies

The Turkey is obvious, but what would you choose to round out your ideal Thanksgiving meal if you could only choose 3 sides & 1 dessert?  (Note: Bread does not count as a side)

I'm going with:

Mashed Potatoes & Gravy
Corn
Macaroni & Cheese

Butterscotch Pie

What say you?

Mac and Cheese

Dressing

Mashed Potatoes and Gravy

Apple Pie with a scoop of vanilla

- Dressing (My grandmothers recipe with hot sausage is hands down my favorite thing about thanksgiving)

- Mac and Cheese

- Mashed Potatoes

Dessert: Pecan Pie

Mashed Potatoes & Gravy

Sweet Potato Casserole

Corn

Apple Pie with a scoop of vanilla

Dressing

Roasted Brussels sprouts

Caramelized Orange glazed carrots

Apple pie - preferably warm with vanilla ice cream

No way is the turkey a given. I’ll take ham 100% of the time if given a choice! You can keep the pumpkin pie too!

Dressing

Hash brown casserole

Broccoli Casserole

Oreo Cake

Mashed Potatoes and Gravy, Green Beans, and Grandma's Butterfinger biscuits.

Grandpa's chocolate milkshakes.

Just won't be the same this year without those biscuits and milkshakes but it's the right decision.

Pretty simple, mashed potatoes, dressing, corn, and pumpkin pie.

Dressing, Mashed Potatoes, Deviled Eggs, and  Chocolate pie.

Mashed potatoes with gravy

Dressing

Green beans

Apple pie

dressing  stewed tomatoes  sweet potatoes  pumpkin pie with whipped cream

Pshhhhh... Amateurs!

-Corn on top of the mashed potatoes, gravy on top of that every other helping.

-Mac and Cheese, but only if it has the light breading of corn flakes or Ritz crackers. Don't you dare insult our overthrowing of an indigenous people with Kraft.

-A combination, you could call it a salad, of Coleslaw, Green Beans, and Broccoli Casserole(again with the breading).

-Keep things simple for dessert. I prefer Pumpkin Pie with a dollop or two of Cool Whip, though I could get behind just about any type of pie. Or, at my grandma's, I'll take the Banana Pudding. I don't eat Banana Pudding anywhere but there though.

Good choice. I always go for two. I'll eat them without the dash of paprika, but I definitely prefer them with. To me, it makes a difference.

Dressing Balls.

Taters and gravy.

Green Bean Casserole.

Mrs. S's Pumkin Dump Cake with Vanilla Ice Cream.
