Coronavirus

Terribly sad story here.

I may raise question of accuracy of numbers.  But the main take away is to listen to what your body is trying to tell you.  Do not assume you have the 'Rona'.  If something does flair up - get it checked out.

When Wellington-area nurse Danielle DiCenso passed away in April after working on the front lines of the coronavirus pandemic, her grieving family was convinced she was another casualty of COVID-19.

But DiCenso, who at the time appeared to be the youngest early coronavirus victim in Palm Beach County, did not die from the deadly respiratory disease, an autopsy released Tuesday by the Palm Beach County medical examiner said.

The 33-year-old mother died April 9 from “complications of acute pyelonephritis,” a bacterial infection in the kidney, according to autopsy records.

I do disagree with the 25%. If restaurants can space you out you should be able to put some more in there.

From what I saw this weekend.  That 25% is being stretched in most places.  Lots of mostly full parking lots in some establishments.

Thats likely because its not a law, just a recommendation. Some businesses will violate said recommendation to stay in business. Its hard times for small businesses due to these recommendations. If wearing a mask really works why do they need to lower capacity if their customers are wearing masks? Makes no sense to me.

Ahh nevermind, I forgot that you only need to wear a mask in a restaurant when you're not seated. Again though, that makes no sense either.

I now know 6 people in Ft Mitchell diagnosed in the last week.  Hope we are not turning into a little hot spot.

Would be interesting to know where they might have contacted it and do they wear masks.

Apparently no one in NKY is wearing them, so not really hard to believe.

I doubt we would be allowed to know if someone that contracted COVID was a mask wearer.

I hear from friends that some places have pretty high compliance on the masks but in some other places masks are non-existent.

Any word on mask usage by the people testing positive?

If we were told the whole truth I am sure a bunch of hard core mask wearers are testing positive for COVID.

And a lot of people who smoked cigarettes like a fiend never got cancer.

Right, it is all kind of hit or miss.

And the follow up is we all know we should not smoke because of the high risk. Likewise we all should be wearing masks because of the high risk of infection. Masks are not 100% effective but if they are just 50% effective we all should wear them.

To the anti-mask crowd, one person wearing a mask testing positive validates them.
