Raiders...I know this loss is hard to swallow but just know that all of Raider Nation is proud of you. This was an outstanding season and you should be proud of what you have accomplished.

There was a lot of big hitting going on tonight by both D's. Ryle was getting penetration all night, but Petrino was making guys miss he was really elusive tonight. I wish we would of got it going on O on that first drive I think it would have been a closer game, but it was a competetive 41-7 that's for sure! Congrats T on #17 your def. the best team I saw this year right above Cov Cath.

Trinity: Hands down best program in the state...and will be for quite some time. Congratulations on the win and #17.

 

Ryle: Great season. No shame in losing to a team like T in your first state appearance. Take this as a stepping stone and go from there.

 

The game: I thought Ryle was going to be able to play with them early. Both defenses were making plays and making some highlight reel hits. Ryle could get nothing going on offense and turned it over twice setting up Trinity with great field position, which you can't do to a team like that. Petrino killed us with his legs and his arms. Those third and long scrambles for first down are huge momentum killers! Besides the rain and the cold is was a great atmosephere and I had a good time!

I agree 900%......Boone was flat awesome (skill wise) in 1994 when we dominated them...they threw two passes, a screen to Mainey...and a HB pass from Shaun that got picked...that will never work against us.

 

 

Umm Boone's Qb never did throw that much at all. I remember going to the Boone Cov Cath because we didn't play until the next day. It didn't surprise me at all that you guys beat Boone with Shuan who is the best player ever to come out of Nky. I would have ran the same defense you guys did. If you think about it Brian should have gotten the ball a lot more than he did.

I heard on the radio before the game that the Rocks are something like 144-0 All Time when scoring 39 or more points...How nuts is that?

And I would just like to add one other thing. Can we not label everyone who has posted in here about the public/private thing a disgruntled Ryle fan. I think we've had a great group of fans who have done nothing but support a great group of kids this year without denigrating other teams or their players. I would also hate for these kids to get bashed for things out of their control, like the playoff set up or the public/private thing, because a couple of people get on here and make out of place and off the wall posts. I'm confident when Ryle fans get on here tomorrow (or today) they will be nothing but congratulatory and conciliatory to Trinity and their fans.
