I will go out on a limb and say South has success running the ball.

Well Bowling Green will have to run to the ball to win. And I think they will have some success. I don't mean they are going to run for 300 yards are anything, but they'll be able to run some. If they can't, I don't see them winning.

 

BG has been pretty good stopping the run so far this year. Brandon Smith is really good at finding the weaknesses though.

BG's experienced secondary has to be licking their chops over the chance to see South's backup QB. Tisdale, Prieskorn, and Spader are playmakers capable of pouncing on any mistake throw that Willingham might make. If he does play with fire early on and gets burned, how conservative can SW afford to be with their play calling? Something to watch for.

I think SW will have to have some success throwing the ball to win. Souths Oline is very good, but they can’t just run it down BG’s throat like they can most teams. BG’s Dline is also good and played pretty well against X. The secondary for BG has played pretty well, especially Preiskorn. He’s a ball hawk, and you virtually have to throw it away from Vito. It’s going to be a lot of pressure on the backup QB, but anything can happen.

I think they will have some success too, just not 225 like last year.

South Warren has not averaged 200 yards rushing per game for this season and managed just a little over 100 against Glasgow. What am I missing?

South may have a great line, but there is no way they can have someone as dominant as Lacey on both sides. He was a game changer on both sides of the ball.

With Veltkamp they were a pass first now with Mason they will be a run first. Watch for alot of Qb quick option like back when Litten was Qb.

I think South really struggles offensively in this game if they are going to win I think they have to play great defense and force a couple turnovers.

Maybe the new premier game of western ky every year. I expect it to be a good one.
