Colonels_Wear_Blue
No, can you post the link? I just Googled it. It doesn't look like a whole lot more than blind speculation from Redleg Nation, but Betts is going to take some serious cabbage. The article said he made $20 million this season in arbitration is eligible for one morel year of arbitration before he goes into free agency. Could the Reds go after Mookie Betts for center field? CincySportsFan
And if everyone said after the trade that Puig was only going to be here for one year because the Reds couldn't afford him afterwards...does that make everyone else above him priced too high as well? ChickenWyngz
Infielder Freddy Galvis gets the 2020 club option. This was a no brainer. How about the trade yesterday?
CincySportsFan
This was a no brainer. How about the trade yesterday? Big question is, where is Galvis going to play? I'd be okay with an Iglesias (SS) and Galvis (2B) infield, but I've seen where the Brewers might be interested in signing him too. As to Jankowski...ehh. Some speed, but just a career .241 hitter. Where's he going to fit into the mix? Late inning defensive substitute?
Jumper_Dad
1.Has there been any off season signings yet? 2. Any coaching changes? (3rd base coach fired, hopefully) 3. Will the Reds actually part with any money to sign a quality player?
