I think it maybe that LexCath has figured out how leverage a college-bound QB in a high school scheme very well.

 

CWB said the Knights run the same play, but really its the same configuration with different routes. Trips, single set back and TE or wide-out on other side. The only real variation is a full spread where the back joins the wide-out. Without 5 solid DBs its hard to cover this with a good QB in the pocket.

 

I am sure remaining teams on LexCath schedule will be studying film long into the night. This will make it tougher on the Knights.

Daniel Felix coming up BIG for the Colonels with 10 tackles and 3 sacks. Led the team in rushing with 89 yards on 9 carries with 1 TD, and 1 pass reception for a 29 yard TD.
