Ugly game for the Colonels, but a win is a win.

1) Big plays hurt the Colonels. Have to have better leverage from the defensive backs.

2) Turnovers hurt the Colonels. Have to take better care of the ball.

3) Lack of defensive adjustment hurt the Colonels. The pass out to the flat was there all night, until CovCath went to man to man coverage a few plays.

4) Impressed with Allen. Throws a catch-able ball and rpo hurt CovCath a few times.

5) Impressed with the Colonel offense. Except for the turnovers (see point #2), the offense moved up and down the field.

6) Nice to see some intestinal fortitude. Games like this can really bring a team together. Coaches probably learned more about their players tonight than the first two games combined.

7) Pretty sure the PrepSpin announcers gave the player of the game award to the LED lighting. They spent quite a bit of time talking about how well lit the field was!

Always nice to get a win and learn what your team needs to work on in practice next week.

Lex Cath runs the same play over and over and over...

CWB did you get tired of seeing this tonight before the snap? This is from last week's game. At least CovCath made adjustments and tried to figure it out. I am not so sure the Indiana team knew what to do with trips in general though.

Yes. Yes I did.

@Bluegrasscard

Who was the Knight playing in his first game tonight? Made a couple of nice plays for LexCath.

Ugly game but beautiful win.

I enjoyed that. Great game to watch. Tremendous comeback after a bad first half.

Here's the game video for those interested.

I’ll definitely be watching this tonight.

#3 Kimwanga Mafuta. Just became eligible this week, per the broadcast.

He took a WALLUP from Michael Mayer in the second half.

Even though LC lost the game and Allen put up big numbers. Does this improve his status for Mr Football?

That might have been the most entertaining CCH game I have watched since 2006 Highlands game with Bovard in the corner of the end zone. Hats off to Allen and the Knights. Look out 4A!

I would say so, especially since this was such high profile game.
