May 30, 20197 yr Brad Calipari is leaving and is transferring. I think officially he "put his name in the transfer portal", not announced he's gone yet? Leaves him several options, but I'd expect he's looking to go somewhere he can play more.

May 30, 20197 yr Good luck to Brad, what that does is if for some reason Kentucky wanted to they could use 3 more scholarships since there will be 2 walkons now. You can only dress 15 on the bench per ncaa rules. Before UK could only use 2 more scholarship players. Edited May 30, 20197 yr by GOREDDEVILS
May 30, 20197 yr Brad Calipari is leaving and is transferring. You think Cal and Ellen are filling out a FAFSA form?
May 30, 20197 yr Brad Calipari is leaving and is transferring. Makes all the sense in the world to me. Wants to play. Put the name in portal and see who comes looking. Fills out the resume' for the future.
May 31, 20197 yr Makes all the sense in the world to me. Wants to play. Put the name in portal and see who comes looking. Fills out the resume' for the future. Quite honestly it probably was the plan from the beginning. It was a chance for Brad to play for his dad for the first time ever. A chance to go against some of the best college basketball players in the country every day in practice. While also getting getting to use top notch facilities. Brad is probably a ten times better basketball player now, than he would have been if he went to a small college from the beginning. So now he can use this experience to hopefully have a very solid 2 years at some small college.
June 4, 20197 yr Most of the team is now on campus except Johnny Juzang who hasn't graduated yet and maybe Blackshear if he commits to UK. Juzang is expected to be in Lexington later this month.
June 4, 20197 yr These are the Jersey numbers for the newcomers. #1 Nate Sestina #2 Kahlil Whitney #3 Tyrese Maxey #10 Johnny Juzang #11 Dontaie Allen #12 Keion Brooks #14 Brennan Canada
June 7, 20197 yr Can’t play at either school, needs to look lower level. You are saying he isn't good enough to play at those schools?
June 9, 20197 yr You are saying he isn't good enough to play at those schools? That’s correct. Those two schools play very good small college hoops and Brad doesn’t have the skill set to play at either.
June 10, 20197 yr Evan Daniels thinks Kentucky will get a visit from Kerry Blackshear this week sometime. He has also visited Arkansas and Florida already. He has scheduled a visit to Tennessee this week also.
