Keldon Johnson like Herro has also decided to just go ahead and officially stay in the draft.

EJ has put his name in now.

Makes sense. Get to hear what he needs to work on, like P.J. Did last year.

No way he stays unless he wants to play overseas.

Gotta try.

I might be inflating his value, but I think E.J. Montgomery has the most potential of all the UK kids this year. I think he needs to return for a year, but there's nothing lost in testing the waters.

I can't blame him for that.

He doesn’t shoot well, can’t put the ball on the floor, poor free throw shooter, prone to foul trouble, and not a knowledge of the game. Where is his potential as a pro player?

You do realize potential means what you can become, not what you are at the moment right?

He is 6 foot 11 inches, and yes he does have the ability to stretch the floor and hit jump shots. He also was very good on the offensive glass, and is very athletic and a good shot blocker. So yes his potential is there. His ceiling out of the guys that were on the UK team this year is higher than anyone elses on the team. Which is because he does have the potential to be so much more than what we seen so far.

Nick Richards and his potential has declared.

Good. He needs to get into the evaluation process and hear from NBA people where he needs to improve. Unless he is planning on playing overseas or in the G league, he will be back and will be better for going through the process.

Can’t Cal provide most of this?

I’m sorry but just can’t see it happening.

I know the discussion is that Richards definitely isn’t ready and that’s probably true, but why is the tone from some that he shouldn’t even be testing the waters? It would be foolish to not give it a shot with the current rules.
