Cats are the 2nd team to advance to the sweet 16 joining LSU.

I knew this game would be tough. We need PJ back next week BAD!!!

Cats will now take on the winner of tomorrows Ohio State and Houston game on Friday, March 29 in Kansas City.

This will be one of the rare times I am rooting for Ohio St. I do not want to play Houston.

That was a battle and it wasn't pretty. Miss PJ bad but I don't think he comes back.

Herro worked his butt off on defense. Proud of him.

Solid win for Kentucky. They definitely have a cap, unfortunately, as I highly doubt PJ is coming back. But they survived a game effort from Wofford. It's tough when you rely on the three so, so much, if they stop falling.

Big win! What's with the roster? Why do we only have 8 players? I know PJ makes 9 but isn't 9 a low amount.

He certainly did and I think it had an impact on his scoring but he still came through in the clutch.

Kentucky shouldn’t struggle so much to score against a team like Wofford.

Do we have another red-shirt on the bench besides Brad C? Keep seeing a 6'5"(?) inch guy in UK sweats in the middle of the bench action. Can anybody tell me about him?

Others have said it and I'll repeat … survive and advance. Story line of this game was defense. U.K. had defenders all over their record breaking 3pt. shooter to the tune of 0-12. Be it Hagans, Johnson or Herro, the Cats had taller, quicker and stronger people defending their shooter. Wooford plays hard, doesn't quit and proved that they're not a one man show. They had a couple of bigs along with other shooter that gave us fits. Over time, imo the U.K. front line strength just wore Wooford down.

Houston should beat OSU but they way this tournet has gone I am hoping that OSU wins. Houston is for real. Hopefully , we get P.J. back by Thursday but I really doubt it. I think that foot is much more serious than what's been said. jmo.

Cameron Payne, Kenny Payne's son. Hurt his knee last year and red shirted this year. Went to Lexingtin Catholic.

Been that way all season. You have to remember UK did have a guard transfer midseason that was averaging about 18 minutes a game early on.

That has left UK with a big man rotation of Travis, Richards and Montgomery due to Washington being out with an injury. At guard/swing forward you've got Hagans, Herro, Johnson, with Baker and Quickley coming off the bench.
