Surprised to see some of the names on here. I think Buten at HHS and Felix at CCH have to be the front runners. I'll give Buten the nod though due to Felix splitting time on D and possibly limiting reps. Also, NEW OC at HHS will have a field day with this kid. If the new OC chooses to FINALLY utilize Huddy on O, look for a tough pair to stop.

I think England has the potential to surprise. His sophomore year when he was a back up to Jake Chisolm, Kyle managed to put up 460 yards. That year Ryle had an offensive line that was able to make way for 3472 rushing yards total that season.

 

Last year, Ryle's offense was a MAJOR struggle, and only had a total of 1365 rushing yards...but Kyle managed to be the leading rusher with 567 yards. He didn't have an offensive line like the year before, he only played in 9 of the 10 games, and I believe at least two of the games in he saw very limited action because of injury.

 

He's no Shaun Alexander, of course, but I think a lot of what England is missing is an offensive line to run behind. The three times I've seen him in person and the couple of games I've seen on film lead me to think he has serious potential to be one of the best running backs in NKY.

I personally think England is going to have a huge year. Injuries have plagued his talent.

Big fan of England as well, seems primed for a great year.

What happened with England at the end of the year at Ryle? Is everything good to go with him being back and playing for the Raiders this fall?

I can only speak of the ones that i saw play and Perrin from Scott and T.Calloway of Holmes are both very good.

I see Perrin from Scott is leading all of NKY in rushing per KHSAA stats statewide, thus playing only 9 games also. Pretty impressive and by far the best running back in NKY this year hands down.

Leon Marshall from Dixie is a back that could have a great game this weekend! While his numbers weren't off the charts this year, he is a very solid back.

 

Coming into this past weekend's upset vs. Scott, Marshall had 489 yards on 108 carries and 8 touchdowns, while only receiving 39% of the Colonels' carries on the year. This weekend when Dixie takes on Ryle, I would give him the ball early and often and hope for the upset. In their first matchup on Oct. 18 when Ryle barely edged Dixie, 13-8, Marshall rushed for 77 yards on 17 carries and scored the Colonels' lone TD.

England has had a great season with all things considered. He is a tough runner he has proven in my opinion he’s top 5 in NKY.
