February 17, 20197 yr Beat the Vols down like a drum! Just beat em up. The Cats were on point last night and what a fun game to watch and one heck of a crowd. Won the board battle, Hagans back in form and PJ was a beast. Don't understate the difference that Herro's hustle and Reid showing up the 2nd half were as well. Plus Keldon was on fire the 1st half. Big big win!

But if they would have lost by 17, it would be 3 pages by now. How Cal sucks, cant win without elite one and done talent, etc. National title prediction? Love it brother! February 17, 20197 yr Nice win. UK was a much more physical team tonight. They looked like the team full of upperclassmen pushing around a bunch of freshmen. Hagans playing well made a world of difference. Physical teams, equal athleticism, I’ll take UK. More athletic teams, Duke and LSU, are the ones that create problems for UK in 2018.

February 17, 20197 yr Best game of the season, IMO. Loved the balance provided by the starters. P.J. Washington will get most of the credit, and deservedly so. He was dominant in the paint all night long. I can't begin to understand why Barnes failed to double team him until it was really too late. It was also good to see the performance of Ashton Hagans. Seven assists and just one turnover, to go along with 9 points & a pair of steals. UK is so much better when Hagans is getting it done at the point. Tyler Herro was fantastic too. Loved seeing him grab 13 rebounds. It honestly felt like he had many more than that. Keldon Johnson was on fire in the first half. His little run there was slightly reminiscent of Tayshaun's stretch against North Carolina way back when. Lastly, loved the game Reid Travis played. His physicality set the tone & I thought he was the game's MVP. Great win.
February 17, 20197 yr National title prediction? Love it brother! We’re past due, time for another mega party. Right now if Duke is hitting the three ball like they did against UK, and the second game against Virginia. No one will beat Duke. If Duke struggles shooting the three like they have the majority of the season. Duke may suffer the same fate as the 2010 UK team did. So yes this UK team definitely is one of the favorites to win it all. UK has one of the top 5 odds in the country to win it all. Yeah the same UK team with coach Cal who can only win games with the best of elite talent. Even though 2011 and 2014 shows it differently. We shall see what happens. The NCAA tournament is the toughest one to win in sports, and why more times than not the best team in the country doesnt win it all. I honestly can see this being like 2010 and 2015. Where UK was the most talented team and best team in the country all year that everyone talked about. While Duke was quietly doing their thing and ended up winning the title those years. I definitely can see the reverse happening this year.

However have to also remember this UK team didnt know how to play defense at the beginning of the year. Plus that still remains one of Dukes best three pointer games of the season. If Duke hits the outside shot no one beats them. However the majority of the year they have not. Which in a one and out setting as I mentioned. That can doom them possibly like the 2010 UK team.
