Don't know if he teaches or works in development. Development is involved with fund raising, alumni relations, student recruitment, etc. This is a position at all Parochial high schools I believe.

He does teach at the school.

So you know the nature of how close he and his nephew are and how important/unimportant it is to coach him through high school. Seems presumptuous.

I think it’s very relevant to talk about Eviston. So you don’t think he’s is at the top of Moeller's list? Guy is obviously the best HC in the tristate by a mile. I bet colleges are looking at him.

He's an excellent coach......and has been blessed with fine talent at NCC and CCH. Those two things produce championship football. Mighty Moe has not had great talent in the last few seasons. Check scholarships to big schools. Cincinnati schools do not always respect NKY programs as much as they should. I think Moeller will try some type of national search. Many now perceive them as a "basketball school".

It's totally relevant to talk about Coach Eviston, yes. That's more than fair game. What this thread doesn't need to be is a hashing out of Cov Cath vs. Highlands.

Mark Elder has been hired. Former head coach at Eastern Kentucky University.

Interesting hire. College experience is high level, but Tennessee wasn't necessarily the Tennessee of old while there, and a 21-24 overall record at EKU with a 15-16 OVC record doesn't really jump off the page. I'd be interested to hear who else was in the mix.

Apparently Coach Elder is leaving coaching to become a 9-to-5er, and Moeller is looking for a coach again.

CCH’s Eviston has to be at or near the top of the list.  If so, does anything keep Him from taking the Moeller Job and staying at CCH?  I would doubt it….

I believe Coach Rash coached at Moeller many years ago.

I'd have to think Noel Rash is too comfy in his position at Beechwood and may be getting nearer to hanging up his whistle or possibly looking to let Hergott take over and step into a supporting role for the Tigers rather than starting the whole process over at another school.

Justin Haddix, I could see where Moeller might think about reaching out to him. I don't know whether or not he would apply, though. Justin's wife is an ER doc with Baptist Health, so there are several spots around Kentucky in the Baptist system where she could probably transition to, but Baptist doesn't have an emergency department presence anywhere in Greater Cincinnati. Just being realistic about their situation, I don't see Coach Haddix going anywhere without Dr. Haddix being able to find a job there first.
