Why should the kicker be exempt from what is a penalty any other time when a defender leads with his helmet?

I'm not exactly sure which one you ment because I didn't see that part of the play and the penalty wasn't for that. But oh well its done with now.

And as you have seen, I changed that this week and said the Cards would win. Rutgers went away from what they do best to start the game, and it provided the Cards a fast start. When they went back to it, the flow of the game changed. I'd say my assessment of Rutgers has been dead on...

The second guy in after the guy who blocked it — the one whose helmet nailed the punter in the kicking leg when his leg was on the way back down. His arms weren't out, he lead with his helmet.

Correct not for leading with the helmet even if that was the case which I didn't see.
