theguru Posted July 17, 2024 Author Posted July 17, 2024 From Walton-Verona Bearcat Football on Facebook: We are excited to announce the start of a new tradition. On Monday, August 5th we will be hosting at the complex our Blue/White Community Football night. It will go from 6 pm to 10 pm. Please come out and meet the players and cheerleaders for the Youth, Middle School, and High School programs. Our high school cheerleaders will also be participate in a powderpuff football game. Each team will be introduced and get to run through our football helmet and then get a chance to do a little 20 minute scrimmage on the game field. The high school will go last and will go for close to 90 minutes. We are working to get food trucks set up and make this a big event for our kids and community as we continue to come to together as one from the top down. Admission will be donation based so you can get in free or donate as little or as much as you want with cash or checks. We are excited to make this a new yearly tradition, and we hope everyone can make it out! Go Bearcats! #oneheartbeat 4
