Kinda off topic, but not really.

 

Watched the entire first season this week on Amazon Prime. It's amazing looking back how much game play has changed and the game has changed. Both teams started off with tools, fish traps, rat traps, cooking pots, a raft and much more.

 

Richard, the eventual winner, seemed to be the only one playing the long game from the beginning. Looking back, had 70 year old Rudy not slipped up and lost the last immunity comp on accident there probably would have been a 70 year old win the first season.

They are on prime and Hulu. I think prime is actually missing a couple seasons. It’s crazy how different the game is now. It’s almost like a different show.

What a great episode!! This season has been fantastic!

I knew John was gone when he predicted the blindside. Hate seeing him go.

I loved the Tribal Council game play. We are so often teased with someone may make a big move, then they don't. This was great...and I liked John, but for the game play it was great.

That Tribal Council was great. When Dan caved in and played his idol, I immediately said that was risky. That opened the door for anyone to be voted out. Someone could have been voted out with one vote. I would not have played my idol for that reason if I was Dan. I don't think he realized how risky that was. He could have very easily gotten himself voted out with that move. If Nick, Dave and Christian write Dan instead of John, Dan is gone.

 

If Angelina somehow wins this thing, that may be the end of me watching Survivor. I cannot stand her. Her arrogance and self focused pushiness are both over the top, and those are two traits that really bug me in people.

I really like Dave, Carl and Nick. They are pretty low key. No one thought of them as threats. They may have the upper hand if played right.

I think Carl can be a little abrasive, and I think that's going to play against him eventually...but all in all, I'm with you.

I was thinking and hoping that Dan somehow messed things up for himself and was going to have one vote that knocked him out. However then my gf reminded me that Dan won the amunity. So he wasn't able to be voted out anyways lol. So he was completely safe.
