November 22, 20187 yr Maybe I am a purist or maybe its because I've been watching some of the first seasons, but I think theh have too many secret advantages and hidden immunity idols in the game now. I'd love to see a season where they didn't have any but the players still thought there were haha! That would be great, to watch them digging around the entire show...:lol2:
November 22, 20187 yr Without immunity idols its just a straight numbers game once the merge happens...whichever tribe has the numbers would just pick the others off...the idol flips it a bit.
November 22, 20187 yr My takeaway is you have to play the game even when you have idols or advantages. Dan looked like he got complacent because he knew he had idols. He wasn't talking with other players and wasn't playing the game. That put the target on him and he went home in spite of the two Idols because he didn't play the game.

Same thing I was thinking. Lower back and shoulder surgery wouldn’t have held up long. I would have taken the nachos because I would have had zero chance.
