November 30, 20187 yr Wrapped up Seasons 1-3. Really enjoy going back and watching these again. Watching Season 4 now. Boston Rob was ahead of his time.
November 30, 20187 yr I've been saying it for a few weeks, and it becomes stronger each week, that I think Angelina makes final 3 b/c everyone wants to go against her so it is basically head to head (as I'm not sure she'd get any votes). Seems like every season someone imminently hateable / annoying lasts long enough where the remaining players want to keep them around just b/c they are no threat to get votes. Not sure if it's ever discussed (wouldn't make the edit if they did as it would remove suspense), but you would think it would be. Agree that Carl got a little "power hungry" and let his focus slip. That quickly he goes from top (ding) to bottom (ding).

Angelina is still really annoying at times, but I don't think she's got nearly as big a target on her now, as it seems like every week, somebody else gives the group a reason to vote them out right away. Now she's at the point, where aligning with her, and dragging her to the final 3 improves your chances greatly of winning the prize.

That's also, frustratingly, a big boost for Angelina to make folks like her more. Not so much bargaining for rice. However, back in the 2nd season (might others) the team was desperate for rice and Jeff offered to give the tribe race if they traded away parts of the shelter/other things around camp. So a trade has happened before, but I believe that's the first time that the players initiated it.

The other famous “negotiation” for food was when Jenna and Heidi offered to get naked for peanut butter back in Season 7 in the Amazon.

Braggadocious is a word that describes Angelina perfectly. I don’t think anyone is fooled that she’s doing “nice” things simply to try and win over the jury if she makes it to the end. I sort of hope she makes it just to hear what the jury tells her.
December 6, 20187 yr I cannot stand Angelina and her facial expressions. I so dislike her, not totally sure why. Maybe she reminds me of a coworker. She acts so proud Gabby went out like it was her idea. Glad Christian sniffed it out. Easy probably when Gabby wouldn't make eye contact.
December 6, 20187 yr Watching the first six seasons again, so far, the game is unbelievably more complex now.
December 6, 20187 yr Christian is gone next week unless he gets immunity. I think it is a shame. I may end up rooting for Angelina and I don't want to do that.
