Survivor: David vs Goliath

Featured Replies

Have you ever asked a young fan of Survivor if they ever watched the 'Rat and Snake speech?'

Its interesting who has not seen the original classic speech from Sue.

Not classic, iconic.

I finished watching All-Stars last night, which is Season 8 for those keeping track at home. That was such an awesome season of Survivor. The producers had to be thrilled with how that turned out.

Only reaffirmed how much of a fan I am of Boston Rob.

Surprisingly, All Stars is not a well received season from a lot of the survivor fanbase. I’m in agreement with you that I thought it was hilarious and a great season. The explanations I’ve heard as to why people don’t like it: 1) The Hatch and Sue incident 2) All of the favorites got voted out early. Personally I love it and think it’s a fantastic season that builds the mystique around one of the best and most entertaining players ever.

I whole heatedly don't agree with the sentiment that all the favorites go voted out early (whoever is saying that). Heck, when they allowed the fans to vote on their favorites and the winner got a million, the top 4 vote getters finished 2nd (Boston Rob), 4th (Rupert), 5th (Big Tom) and right before the merge (Colby).

I can see people having an issue with the Hatch/Sue incident, but I don't think that overshadowed the season as a whole. There was so much awesome in that Season.

By favorites I meant players that were favorites on their first season. Hatch, Rudy, Tina, Jerri, Colby, Rob C, Jenna M, and Ethan were all gone early. I disagree with that sentiment wholeheartedly, just repeating to you what I read.

Survivor Finale Night!

I'm in trouble. Gotta work the UC game tonight at 9pm. Probably won't get home until about midnight.

The right person won, IMO. I’m good with it.

I hope Nick wins but they are all worthy IMO.
I wanted Nick to win too. Where in KY is he from?

I want to say the London area.
