I have said for a little while now, I always thought it would be a good idea to play a fake idol, watch the reactions and decide what to do. Always figured there was some kinda rule against it because no one ever did it.

Wow. That sucks. Christian is one of the best people to ever play survivor. This definitely won’t be the last time we see him. He’s just a really, really good dude. Sad to see him go but it would have been the easiest vote in history if he was in the finals. I truly think 5/6 people left have a legit chance to win this game. This should be one of the best finales in a long time.

I personally don't see how Angelina, Allison, and maybe Kara have much shot.

Angelina is going to be there in the final because everyone wants her there. No fear of losing to her.

I am sorry to see Christian go but I agree that we will likely see him again on Survivor. He was way too big a threat to not take him out.

Will there be another idol put back into play or are we too far into the game for that?

I don't blame Nick for playing his idol. I would always err on the side of playing it. I don't think he did a very good job of testing people out with his fake idol.

I agree the three guys all have a better shot at winning than the three girls. Allison has the best shot of the three girls, although I do think Kara would win a couple votes if she is in the final.

Angelina has zero chance. Kara has a lot of friends on the jury and Alison formed some strong relationships behind the scenes with a lot of people. I don’t think either is ahead of Davie, Nick, or Mike but it wouldn’t surprise me if they won.

I just feel like when you get these super fans on the show and they really don't use alliances, they use voting blocks, you don't typically win because of relationships. You win because they evaluate you on your strategic moves.

I've been thinking for a couple of weeks now that Christian was bound to be voted out. Nobody wants to be against him in the end, because he's too likeable and has played too good a game. He'd win without question. I think he basically had realized the same thing himself, and was getting at it when he was talking about how many votes he'd had against him in previous Tribal Councils, and how he was approaching the all-time high for number of votes against someone still in the game.

At this point, I think Nick and Davie are the two strongest players. I don't know that they'll make it to the end...especially Nick. You could see that in how upset he was when he realized he played his idol without needing to.

Angelina is the worst. I want her gone, now. On one hand I think she would be smart for someone to keep away until the end, because I think there's a good chance that the jury wouldn't vote for her because she's annoying, and on the other hand I wonder if that damn rice business could end up being considered pretty heavily, plus her general involvement in voting out the folks who got voted out - I think she has been in on a couple of blindsides at this point. I couldn't freakin' handle it at the end of the reward challenge when she said, "I'm not going to use my getting the rice as a bargaining chip...but Davie, the rice helped you win immunity after I got it, and I need this" and then she went back to the camp and told everybody at camp, "I'm never going to use my getting the rice as a bargaining chip" immediately after she had just done EXACTLY THAT right in front of everybody. Ughh...get her out of there, already!

I just have a feeling that Mike won't win it. I don't know why, but I just have that feeling. He has a REALLY solid intuition for the game though...he has since day 1.

Alison and Kara have the potential to win, but I don't think that they've really made many big plays this season. They do have a lot of friends on the jury though, like GrantNKY said. Lol, Kara definitely won't be getting any vote in the end from Dan, though, just because she batted her eyelashes at him, wrapped him around her finger, and then played him like a fiddle. Like MJ said, it does seem like most of the voting in this day in age is based on who has built the best resume as a "Survivor player". Who has been the cause of the most strategic moves in the game.

At this point, I'm cool with anyone winning who isn't named Angelina.

I disagree somewhat. Just going back to Ghost Island, Wendell won because of his relationships. Dom played a better more strategic game IMO, but Wendell was more well liked. I agree that they shouldn’t take personal relationships into account when voting for a million dollars and they should award it to who the best player is, but that doesn’t happen nearly as often as it should.

I think everyone else feels the same way as the audience does about Angelina at this point. I don’t think people really care that she got them the rice. I think she believes this was some big strategic move to win over votes, but ever since the first tribal after the merge when Angelina told Elizabeth that she was being voted out, everyone knows that everything Angelina is doing is fake and is just trying to win jury votes. Everyone is in on the joke except her at this point.

I know it goes either way at times, but I just feel like when there are several "Super Fans" on the jury, they tend to favor whomever had strategic game play vs. voting on personal connections. I've have to go back and put together some data to prove, which isn't going to happen haha!

She would get me kicked off the tribe because when she said in front of me, "I'm not going to bring up the rice, but....". I'd have a hard time responding with, "then don't".

Has anyone else noticed how salty Dan has been at every tribal council since he got voted out? :lol2:

Have you ever asked a young fan of Survivor if they ever watched the 'Rat and Snake speech?'

Its interesting who has not seen the original classic speech from Sue.
