I'll be honest.  Under Beatty THS is undefeated last year and this year with these kids IMHO.  T is still the big dog but it will never be that easy again.  Bob was flat out a legend of a coaching machine.

That being said, congrats to Coach Cobb on getting #1.  He's defenses are outstanding and his offensive play calling keeps me up at night but at the end of the day he got the job done.

If they can keep the their freshman class together they are in good shape to run off the next 3.

I believe Godzilla is alive and well in St. Matthews!!!!☘️??

THS is set for a 3peat!

LFG!

I'm still laughing about the post that said the last team should have been undefeated...wow.

For 2025 and 2026, Godzilla drops Bryan Station, adding PRP, and drops Center Grove, adding Moeller. The remainder of their regular season opponents remain the same as in 2024.

Coach Beatty once shared designing state championship rings never gets old. Coach Cobb has his staff and the players assembled to put together a string of titles.  Another former coach for many years at Trinity shared the staff and players know going into every season the expectation is to win the state title. It is not arrogance, it is a mindset the supporters of Trinity are accustomed too and fortunately the student athletes are fully aware of this when they enroll.  Ryle had a great season and was a formidable opponent in the final.  Since they also had many underclassmen, I am confident the Rocks will meet them next season in the playoffs.

Wow. Replacing Center Grove with Moeller. Another brutal schedule.

Wow!  Moeller!  That will be a great game or two to go see!  I love how T schedules!  They battle high quality out of state opponents right in RPIs face and doesn’t flinch. Always pull for the Rocks against those teams and try to make at least one of those games each year. Great environments.

Love it! Good for them!

Godzilla is still alive and well. And with as much youth as this team had, dare I say, could get even stronger in 2025 and 2026.

As to scheduling, the Rocks always schedule tough and due to that are well tested come playoff time. It truly never gets old seeing the boys over on Shelbyville Road win year after year.

Yeah, hate to say it but this was the year to get Godzilla.

There are so many key pieces back for next season, and a few special youngsters are waiting in the wings! 'Zilla is alive and well.
