So, for clarity's sake, are you ranking teams against against a fictional giant lizard, or are you ranking teams against Louisville Trinity?

Aren't they the same thing? :D

I just passed by Marshall Stadium moments ago. It looks like Trinity's still celebrating #29. I pulled over and took a video with my phone for those who couldn't make it.

  • For the foreseeable future, yes.  I've not been coy about my opinions on the HC change. It was a bad choice from the getgo.  I will not relent on that matter. He was a wonderful DC, and maybe he

Yes, James Quick's nephew. Just like his uncle, except he's already 6-1. Yikes!

Well, I mean, they're both green and both came onto the scene in the early 1950s...but aside from those two similarities, no.

I'll let 'Ru speak for himself, but I'm about 99.99% positive that he was talking about the big green monster (of a high school football team) from Louisville when he started this thread.

I got 12 teams.

Male

Scott County

Simon Kenton

Frederick Douglass

Butler

Campbell County

Madison Central

North Hardin

Henderson County

St. X

Daviess County

Dupont Manual

Let's be honest, this is a legitimate question...

The monster sleeps in 2018. After that, it’s clobbering time again.

The monster may be a bit wounded this year, but that just serves to focus the mind. I won’t close the book on this year until the clock reads 0:00 in the last game.

I don’t think Godzilla is dead. I think their top players are young players and there may be a struggle between the top players and developing leadership to carry the team. I’ll say they’ll be fine come playoff time. It it does prove they’re not invincible.

Every program will have down years roll through from time to time. This is still Trinity (Godzilla) and I would not want to be the first team they play once they get thier act together whether that is this year or next...you know for certain it is coming.

T minus 5.

Godzilla gets to lick its wounds over the next few weeks before X. I think they end up 5-5 before playoffs. So I voted no to Godzilla being dead and that still applies until T is eliminated come playoff time

As a rational person, I agree.

They aren't dead until someone beats them come playoff time. They may be down this year, but if I had to guess, they will still be a factor once the playoffs start.
