Not a Trinity guy by any means, but I'll say good for Coach Cobb.  After a 2-3 start last year, preceded by 2 years of not making the finals, many naysayers, including a few here, were calling for his head, stating Trinity never should have given him the job.  The Trinity job was bigger than him and they should have completed a national search for their next coach.  To go from that to back-to-back state titles with more coming is a testament to him and his coaching ability....or at least hire the right assistant coaches, which is what most head coaches will tell you is the most important thing anyway.

I just passed by Marshall Stadium moments ago. It looks like Trinity's still celebrating #29. I pulled over and took a video with my phone for those who couldn't make it.

  • For the foreseeable future, yes.  I've not been coy about my opinions on the HC change. It was a bad choice from the getgo.  I will not relent on that matter. He was a wonderful DC, and maybe he

Yes, James Quick's nephew. Just like his uncle, except he's already 6-1. Yikes!

Big Moe is definitely the premier program again in Cincinnati. State runner-up. I wonder what they return next season.

Maybe one of the top QBs in the nation Matt Ponatoski, for starters! ?

I see their freshman teams each year since St. X plays them and I don't see any indication of them falling off anytime soon.

I'm still laughing about the post that said the last team should have been undefeated...wow.

You know its true! ?

Just came across this from last year.

Never paid attention until now.

Guess it was a fair question at the outset - although would question the phrasing.

Sure are alot of "haters" out there.

In retrospect some of posts now seem downright funny.

Sad.

GO ROCKS.

Only the strong survive. Going by the record, he is strong.

Yes. I recall some of the Rocks fans jumping off the bandwagon after a few games and then wanting back on board after the 12 game winning streak and state championship. Fair weather fans for sure.

Big Moe also has Christian Harris, one of the top defensive lineman in the state of Ohio returning along with an all GCL linebacker and 2 tight ends who are both being heavily recruited by power 5 programs.  I am very confident the Coach B will have Big Moe right back in the thick of a D1 state championship again next season.
