Do I think the offensive coaching is anywhere near what it was, no, do I think T could still win it all, yes.

Trinity's issue is don't have a great senior class. I remember when watching them as freshman and thinking this was worse T class I've seen. St. X could have scored 70 on them if didn't put reserves in. The current junior class is really good and why they are competitive this year. I've always thought next year Trinity would be very good when those juniors are seniors.

To be fair on that the list of guys that can replace Coverdale without a drop off is pretty small. Granted he has been gone I believe two seasons but one doesn’t simply replace Coverdale.

I think it is a combination of Coach Coverdale and Coach Beatty not being there.

The program isn't dead. But it needs a hefty overhaul and resurrection.

Godzilla isn’t dead… he’s just not coaching at T anymore. 
 

There is however a new monster at X.

Too early to write the Shamrocks off. Center Grove is #1 team in Indiana and Frederick Douglass loss by 3pts. If they lose to St. X and Male then maybe start writing them off but long time to improve between now and November.

For the foreseeable future, yes. 

I've not been coy about my opinions on the HC change. It was a bad choice from the getgo.  I will not relent on that matter. He was a wonderful DC, and maybe he did well in Pulaski Co or wherever he was. But this is not the place for him to head up.

I will continue to support the kids. But I will not attend games and give money to the school until they fix the problem they created. 

I'm sure he's a great guy. But not the answer to follow Bob Beatty.
