Sharp only begins scratch the surface of how this looks. That locker room might be the envy of every team in the state.

Looks like Regional Championships.

I’m in Pikeville right now. It’s my first visit here and just like Pike County residents, I live in eastern Kentucky too. It’s a 120 mile trip to get from my home in Booneville to Pikeville. I have a relative in the Pikeville Medical Center is the reason for the trip.

 

It’s a fantastic city, very nice. Beautiful hospital facility. The town has about anything you need. Name the store or restaurant and you’ll more than likely find it here. You can see that the citizens take a lot of pride in how their county seat looks and I’ve yet to meet anyone that’s not friendly. Also an easy town to navigate because most everything is located up a long strip of road. Looks like a great place to live. There’s no doubt they also take pride in the local sports teams and the locker room discussed here is full evidence. They also have the big arena for sports, concerts and other events. It’s hard for me to think that I’m an Eastern Kentuckian myself and 64 years old and had never been to Pikeville until this week. I’m glad I’ve finally seen it. I told one of my friends it was a “Little Lexington”, lol.

Pikeville has came a long way in recent years. It's been a while since I've been down there but I know people that have and said it's doing a lot better than it was ten years or so ago.

This just screams small town "Pride!" Love it.
