B-Ball-fan
Brain Johnson was born in 1947 in North East England in Dunston, Gateshead, County Durham, England where the people in that part of England are referred to as Geordies. Geordie is both a regional nickname for a person from the larger Tyneside region of North East England, and the name of the Northern English dialect spoken by its inhabitants. Just before joining AC/DC Brian Johnson was the lead singer for a band by the name of Geordie... Here are the names of the bands that Brian Johnson was in previous to joining AC/DC beginning around 1969/1970, and then he joined AC/DC in 1980 to replace Bon Scott who shortly before had passed away. B-Ball-fan
Another very interesting TV performance in 1975 looking pretty cool for the time, and using his vocal power in possibly a more digestible and tolerable way if his AC/DC scratchy screams are not to some folks' liking. B-Ball-fan
Geordie in 1973 - Here you hear more of Johnson's signature scratchy sound sorta like Dan McCafferty of Nazareth....you could almost hear him singing "Hair of the Dog" by Nazareth...
