Padgett and Snider deserve so much credit for the way they’ve handled themselves through all this. Next coach might be a better Xs and Os guy, but he’s got some big shoes to fill on how to act with dignity and grace under pressure.

March 21, 20188 yr He’d do well at Eastern. I'd like to see him end up there, or (and this is probably not realistic) if Mack takes the UL job and Xavier goes after Brannen, he end up at NKU.
March 21, 20188 yr Cincy talk radio pretty heavy that Mack is going to UL. Talk of heavy, longterm deal with all money guaranteed and a very small buyout. General thinking is the FBI/NCAA hammer is at least three years from hitting and the ability to walk with no buyout dependent on the severity of the hammer mitigates much of the career risk issues. I guess money does talk pretty loudly with an all-in committment of support to insulate him from issues he wasn't part of. Good coach, but his potential for taking Steele with him is pretty damaging to X and a major plus for Louisville.
