March 2, 20188 yr If something can possibly go wrong in College basketball, it will happen to the Cards. lol Oh well, it’s just the icing on the cake of the last 6 months for Louisville fans. I’m sure tournament results will be the sprinkles!
March 2, 20188 yr Being a Louisville fan in 2018 is like getting stabbed in the face over and over and over again. Somewhere @Randy Parker is laughing his evil little laugh.
March 2, 20188 yr That's the most UK football way to lose a game. The foul on the 3 attempt was so stupid. I really feel for Coach Padgett.
March 2, 20188 yr 30 - make a FT 2 - don't foul 22 - don't run the baseline 22 - just throw it downcourt 22 - throw it hard into defender's midsection 22 - throw it at defender's feet 22 - roll it inbounds like a bowling ball (even if a UofL player doesn't touch it to start clock, no way a UVa player picks it up from floor and heaves it toward goal before clock expires) 22 - make sure your coach has 13 in the game so you can lob it to him like a jump ball to stat the game and make sure he jumps straight up and doesn't try to grab it and merely tips it to start the clock (no way a UVa player can get higher than 13 and actually possess the ball, much less shoot while grabbing it in the air) US Reed hoops UC Santa Barbara baseball Cal State Fullerton baseball UVa hoops
March 2, 20188 yr Just brutal. I feel for the UofL fans on here, and I feel for Padgett. That guy has done a phenomenal job in an unimaginable situation IMO.
March 2, 20188 yr I'm still in shock.. I feel for Padgett he get's his top two free-throw shooters to the line both of them are 93% and we go 2 for 4.. Sometimes as coaches we assume the players know the game as well as we do and sometimes it bites you in the butt!!

Technically 6-8 in crunch time as McMahon was 2-4, Perry was 2-2 and Spalding (although hardly a 90+% FT shooter) was 2-2. Another Q, why was Mahmoud not guarding the inbound guy on the last play? Don't you want to make that pass as hard as possible? Edited March 2, 20188 yr by jpa2825
March 2, 20188 yr There's not much to say really. That game is indicative of what it's like to be a Louisville fan over the past several seasons. Oh well, I expected them to lose this game anyway. But man, that loss just takes it all out of you.
March 2, 20188 yr I'm almost certain that's the worst loss I've ever seen a team earn. Does anyone have that win probability stat for the end of the game?
