March 2, 20188 yr Before UL went to inbound the ball with .9 left, it was 98.7%. Surprised it wasn't higher, to be honest. Wow, agreed, I would have thought it was over 99%.

Unless you throw a bounce pass in the lane that gets intercepted, almost any other pass makes it next to impossible for you to lose....throw it deep, throw it high so it's a jump ball, roll it, throw it to a guy running away from the basket, throw it to the guy in the corner denying the pass, throw it off the guy guarding the inbounder, hand it to the guy guarding the inbounder...

March 2, 20188 yr Some of the clock men I've seen over the years, that might not happen Not today. If the clock is off by one tenth you get a 5 minute official review to correct it.

March 2, 20188 yr As soon as we got the ball, I said "put everybody on the opposite free throw line and throw it down there." I texted my wife and son (who were in the arena) that "22 will run the baseline" before it happened (10:10 PM). I was hoping to be wrong. I agree from a coaching standpoint running a normal inbounds play was stupid. You could even see 22 asking "do I throw it long?" before the substitution thing got resolved. Ugh!

March 2, 20188 yr All they had to do is put the 4 Cardinal players on the other end of the court and thrown a high lob to the opposite free throw line. Regardless which team touches the ball first the game is over.
