I'm curious if Greenup County will drop down to 3A or petition to play up. They and Russell in the same district would intensify what is already a nice rivalry, IMO.

Looking at the list there is a total of 222 schools. If you divide that into 6 classes its 37 teams in each class.

 

Who do you think will play up? Any chance any other teams drop from playing up?

That has to be just a plot of where the schools are located. Look at 6A. There are 2 2 team districts in NKY, 2 3 team districts (Lex and Central KY), 1 4 team district (Lex), a 5 teamer (east Louisville), a 6 teamer (west KY) and 1 with 7 teams (west Louisville).
