We are having one of those spirited week before Christmas debates in the office. Which is the better movie?

I personally like Old School better. Never really got the Wedding Crashers hype.

I think its overrated as well.

I think they are both great movies but old school takes the cake here.

Love Wedding Crashers, but I think Old School is the winner here.

Old School > Wedding Crashers

I really like both movies, but the John/Claire storyline in Wedding Crashers gets in the way of the comedy at times, which is what gives Old School the definite edge.

Old School is great all the way through.

Wedding Crashers is great for the first half but is probably about 20 minutes too long.

I'll take Wedding Crashers. From the opening credits music straight through the happily-after-after ending, I like it all. There was a time when I was in the camp that after the "touch" football game, the movie wasn't worth watching. If I see that one on the guide, I'm done looking for something to watch.

With Old School, I'll tune in, then continue to search the guide for something a little more up my alley.

Also: Isla Fisher

I, personally, find "Wedding Crashers" to be consistently funnier, although I obviously like both. However, if they are both on at the same time, there is a 100% certainty I'm watching "Wedding Crashers" and passing on "Old School".

Agreed 100%.

The fact that Will Ferrell doesn't appear until after that scene, obviously makes that statement untrue.

I liked Wedding Crashers a lot and feel like I've seen it more than Old School but I tend to agree it's likely Old School. I can think of funny moments/quotes rather easily from Old School. With Wedding Crashers it's pretty much "mom where's the meatloaf".....
