Speaking of Flaget, their 1967 state championship team is being recognized on Sunday. That 50 years sure went by fast. I believe they only had a little over 30 players on that team. Only regular season loss that year was to STX. They beat Thomas Jefferson for the championship.

I agree with the sentiment that X has some good, tall receivers. They concern me. From what little I've seen of him, X QB Albers has a really good arm.

As a matter of fact, I think he throws some short passes too hard sometimes. Should be good weather for the game. This is T's second day game (Moeller). With it being played at 2 p.m. on a Sunday, it is reminiscent of the old X-Flaget games.

 

X can’t be worried about the pass. They must use it early and often to add some type of stress to the T defense. X needs to try to get to the edge to force the T defense to play in space so later in the fame the inside running game is more available. Albers isn’t the best passer, but he’s good enough to win games doing it, with that being said he needs to make sure he releases the ball quickly to negate T’s pass rush and keep the T secondary on their heels.

Is anyone else convinced SC Wing T would give T a more interesting challenge? They are clearly the favorite against any opponent in KY, this will be more of a repeat of the first meeting, IMO.....
