October 15, 20179 yr I'm all for equality, equal pay, etc. But I'm not sure I get this. I see no issue in not having girls in the Boy Scouts and vice versa. I also don't have a problem at all any sort of gender specific clubs or organizations.

October 15, 20179 yr That means they will jack up the price. Ever buy popcorn from the scouts? Ouch! Just last week as a matter of fact. I made them work for it though. Two little brothers who had to tell me what they learned this year in the Scouts.

October 15, 20179 yr The cynic in me thinks there's more to it than that, but we won't get into that. I assume a name change for the organization is in order? The way I understood it...they could just compete for an Eagle Scout, not actually become or join Boy Scouts.

October 15, 20179 yr I posted this on my Facebook to get some opinions on the subject. The gripe seems to be that Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts do completely different things. Some girls prefer the outside stuff etc. My thought would be just change the GS program a bit but I guess that's not the world we live in anymore

Which is why I believe there is more to this than what they're saying.
