Florida 28 Kentucky 27

I thought Gran called a pretty good game tonight.

Gran is why Stoops still has a job.

Stoops: "The breakdown in communication defensively on the two plays are really a sore spot...I accept responsibility for those."

It doesn't excuse it, but at least he owns it.

I left at 27-14 thinking it was over. Unbelievable. Cats fans, what now? Who is (rationally) at blame?

Not saying it wasn't a hold but how many times can you call a hold and how many have you ever seen with game on the line in the last 10 seconds of a game. Also on a 3rd an 1 for Florida before they scored the tightend jumped big time and no call. But the reason the Cats lost was the two uncovered TD's and when you do stupid stuff like that you put yourself in position where stuff like that happen.

I can understand that. My son and I (Big Bama fans) were pulling for Kentucky tonight. Just a let down at the end. He usually doesn't get this upset unless Bama loses.

For the second week in a row I want to burn my couch! It will never be the same again!

I still don't understand why the Cats never ran the play they ran with the throw over the middle to Conrad early in the 3rd when they went up 21-14.

Stoops game management is still a work in progress.

You know this one was almost as bad as the Wisconsin loss in the Final 4.

Pretty much sums it up on SEC now ex Auburn Gene Chizik says in all of his years of football he could not remember ever seeing a team get 14 points off of completely uncovered players.

You know this one was almost as bad as the Wisconsin loss in the Final 4.

Um, nooooooooooo. I mean, this would be nice, but that was hopefully not only going to be a title but immortality. When UK stopped the Tennessee streak it was nice, but not immortality. This would have been the same.

10 suspensed players, QB change during the game, a coach who has a unique way of deep sea fishing, yet Stoops still finds a way to blow it.

There's no excuse for this. UK out-played Florida for most of the game, then lose because of stupid mistakes. This was a game that had to be a win.

Yeah no question it was. Those 10 yards would have been nice on the end of that FG.

More like 20. The 10 from the penalty plus the yards gained on the play. Outside of fumbling, a penalty is the one thing you can't have happen there. You're already in fieldgoal range. Just hold on to the ball and don't lose yards.

How many years do you think it will take? Of course Marvin Lewis still can't manage a game and he's been at it for 14+ years. lol
