September 24, 20178 yr Author I thought Gran called a pretty good game tonight. He did, GREAT job UNTIL those 2 poss, WWAAYY too conservative, especially with a hot QB, could've put the game away, you've got to admit!! Before that he was excellent!!
September 24, 20178 yr Author Florida averaged over 6.2 yards per play and also ended up winning the time of possession as well.
September 24, 20178 yr Anyone who blames this on Stoops is an idiot. Period! He did not get out coached. He had this team ready to play, and they played well. Outside of a handful of plays, calls by the refs, etc. these young men performed. Yes they could have won, but they were unfortunate and didn't. If you can't accept how far this team has come. Put your head in your butt and cheer for someone else.
September 24, 20178 yr Author Finally I probably set tomorrow evening and watch the Bengals do silly things and lose to the Packers as well. lol

September 24, 20178 yr Coaches are responsible for their team!!! Right or wrong. Just the way it is!!!! Unfortunately,i have been there myself as a head coach. Learn and move on.
September 24, 20178 yr Author People that want to blame the staff for allowing 14 points on two plays where a WR was totally uncovered are idiots. I'll write that down... Couldn't have said it better myself. Especially when the first one occurred right in front of him he was no more that 10 feet from it and never tried to call timeout until the ball was being thrown.
September 24, 20178 yr Lots of blame to go around. Certainly, The two uncovered TDs. This is where it is embarrassing; one happened in the first half and Stoops was asked about it coming off at halftime. "Lack of communication, we'll get it fixed", or something along those lines. Then why didn't it get corrected at halftime? The DBs don't deserve a pass either. I'm assuming they didn't start their football careers in college. Most have probably played 10-12 years already. Why do they not see a receiver uncovered and call a TO? Besides losing to Florida, I'm sure they also lost the recruits that were at the game as well. Would you want to play for a this coaching staff?!
September 24, 20178 yr When you play"not to lose", you usually lose!!!! Reference the first game of last year. Up 13 and stop throwing the football. Can't happen!!!! Seen this before from this coach. Oh well! Lets move on to next weeks cluster...lol!!!
September 24, 20178 yr Do your job as a player, cover the receiver. Do your job as a coach and make sure your players know what they're doing.

I agree. Kentucky was rolling offensively. I thought they were mixing up the formations and the percentage of run pass plays was the perfect mixture. Then they just stopped.
